A fabulous Vintage 1990's circa 9ct yellow gold Pierrot the clown pendant, crafted in France.
This beautifully detailed piece resembles Pierrot the clown, a theatre character originating in Italy as "Pedrolino", later developing popularity throughout France as the well known and adored "Pierrot".
Pierrot was commonly depicted in French theater as a lonely and love sick character, who has touched the hearts of many theatre fans across the globe.

Condition
Good preloved vintage condition, with some signs of wear. Some fine marks, scratches and vintage patina may be present. Some slight thinning to the loop joining the bale is present. The finer details of this piece are overall beautifully well preserved.
