Vintage 33gm 1961 Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Curb Link Heart Lock Bracelet

A timeless and versatile vintage 1961 circa Georg Jensen sterling silver rounded curb link heart lock bracelet. 

Meticulously hallmarked to each individual link with a lion passant stamp, this well crafted piece is both perfectly versatile and beaming with history and character.

Details

- Full hallmarks are present.  The reverse of the heart lock is stamped 'SILVER' with a makers mark for Georg Jensen Ltd. The chain is also stamped with a matching Georg Jensen makers mark, accompanied by a forward facing leopard London assay mark, and a date stamp for the year 1961.  Each link of the bracelet is also stamped with a lion passant stamp for sterling silver. 

- Weighs a generous 33.23 grams.

- Will fit a wrist that suits an 18cm bracelet.

- The links measure approx 8.5mm wide X 2.5mm thick.

- The heart lock measures approx 27mm X 17mm.

Condition

Good preloved vintage condition, with some expected age related signs of wear.  Some fine marks, scratches and vintage patina are present.  All links are neatly soldered.  No significant signs of link wear are present.  An intact safety chain is present. Both the bracelet and heart lock are original and matching.  The heart lock closure secures well.
