A fantastic little vintage 1940's circa, sterling silver and enamel articulated/ opening US postal box charm or small pendant.
From an era that took priority in written love letters, this wonderful little piece is designed as a United States Postal box with a moving opening, that opens to reveal a sweet little red enameled double heart motif.
A great gift for a loved one, this uncommon little piece could be worn as a charm on a bracelet or as a small pendant on a neck chain.

Condition
Good vintage preloved condition, with some minor signs of wear. Some fine marks, scratches and vintage patina are present. The enamel heart detail is nicely preserved, showing little to no signs of enamel loss. The articulated postal slot functions/ moves well.
