An exquisite Victorian era handcrafted marble compass fob pendant, elegantly complemented by a 70 cm long Vintage Figaro link chain.
This lovely little compass pendant is English handcrafted in origin, estimated to date to the Victorian era (1880-1900) and displays a glass sealed Fluid-less compass face that has been fitted into a craved recess within the marble stone.
The face of the marble fob shows a nicely detailed and hand drawn compass, with a suspended pin that appears to function as intended when the compass is moved. The compass is fixed to a multiple ring sterling silver bale attachment, and hangs nicely from the long chain that it is paired with.
A delightful gift for anyone who appreciates quality handcrafted antique jewellery, or a fine addition to the collection of anyone who loves functional and hard to find antique pieces.

Condition
Good preloved Antique condition with signs of wear that are commensurate with age and use. Some marks and scratches are present on the compass. The Chain is in good condition, little signs of link wear, and the clasp works nicely.
