A particularly fabulous Antique Victorian era 9ct gold and sterling silver Piqué bow design pendant. This incredible piece has been crafted from genuine tortoise shell, flaunting an eye catching inlaid pattern of both solid 9ct yellow gold and sterling silver. Two ribbon like lengths of inlaid yellow gold are seen at the top of the pendant, while an intricate mixed metal pattern with a combination of flower, leaf, and stud details cover the remaining pendant face. This stunning piece is gently shaped with a wave like effect, creating an extra touch of realistic ribbon bow type appeal.
An incredible addition for anyone who admires Victorian era fine jewellery, this piece is estimated to be dated to the mid Victorian era 1840- 1880, and would make an impressionable heirloom quality piece to add to any collection.

- Stamped with a worn 9ct to the large bale attachment.
- Weighs 2.26 grams.
- Measures approx 30mm wide X 23mm high, not inclusive of the bale attachment. The bake attachment measures approx 6mm internal diameter.
- Crafted from genuine tortoise shell, with an old Rose gold bale and securing attachment to the reverse. The inlaid details on the pendant consistent of both 9ct old yellow gold, and sterling silver, exhibiting a well aged and darkened patina to the metals.
Condition
Very good preloved antique condition with some minor signs of wear that are commensurate with age and use. Some fine marks and scratches to both the metal and shell may be present. All inlaid metals are present, no pieces are damaged nor missing. A darkened antique patina is present, particularly to the sterling silver components of this piece. The 9ct gold bale attachment is likely a later addition, and remains intact and sturdy.
