A marvelous Antique Victorian, late 1800's 9ct gold preserved scarab beetle brooch.

A brilliantly unique piece for anyone who appreciates unusual Victorian era jewellery, this wonderful Victorian brooch boasts  four nicely matched and preserved genuine scarab beetles, that are claw set into a solid 9ct yellow gold brooch.

The scarab beetle, sacred in Egyptian history, was believed to represent rebirth and renewal, and were often worn in Egyptian culture as an amulet of  Goodluck and protection.

This piece would make a fantastic and one of a kind gift for anyone who appreciates ancient egyptian history, or a great addition for anyone who loves their jewellery a little in ordinary and unique.
