- Full Birmingham hallmarks for 15ct gold, accompanied by a date stamp for the year 1887.
- Weighs 2.57 grams.
- Measures as a size 4 3/4 US or i1/2 UK/AU.
- The inner diameter of the band measures 15mm.
- The face of the ring measures approx 10mm X 14mm, tapering to 3mm wide at the base of the shank.
Condition
Good preloved antique condition, with signs of wear that are commensurate with age and use. All original seed pearls are intact and in nice condition, retaining a moderate nacre layer and generous lustre. No pearls are loose or missing. There is a small cast defect present to the edge of the setting. This does not appear to effect usual wear nor the structural strength of the ring. The shank is perfectly round, showing no significant signs of thinning. All hallmarks are crisp and clear. Some fine marks, scratches and aged patina may be present.
