A completely fabulous Antique Victorian era sterling silver floral detailed buckle ring, hallmarked for Birmingham 1883.
Crafted by Birmingham jeweller, Lewis Edwin Neale, this marvellous antique buckle ring is beautifully detailed, showing an intricate art nouveau type floral patterning, spanning the full width of the band. At the face of the ring, a well crafted buckle feature can be found, adding an extra touch of antique allure to this lovely old piece.
Buckle rings, originally becoming popular during the Victorian era, were and still are a popular symbol of love, friendship and commitment. The buckle represents a bond that is held steadfast, and the joining of two souls as one.

- Measures as a size 6 1/2 US or M UK, however, with the wide 8mm band, this ring would also be well suited to a slightly smaller ring size 6 US or L UK.
- Internal diameter of the band measures 16.5mm.
- Width of the band measures a consistent 8mm wide. The buckle measures 12mm wide.
- Weighs 3.77 grams.
Condition
Very good Antique condition, showing only minor signs of wear with consideration for the age of this piece. Some fine marks, scratches and mild patina may be present. The floral detail is nicely preserved, showing very little signs of rub wear. The band is nice and round, showing no significant signs of thinning. Overall lovely condition for the age of this piece.
