A beautiful and highly detailed, Antique Victorian era, circa 1882, sterling silver Aesthetic movement brooch.
This piece flaunts a pretty and highly detailed floral emblem, with intricately placed old yellow and green gold detail to the main flower.
To the reverse of the brooch, nicely preserved hallmarks can be found, showing that this piece was crafted by Birmingham silversmith, Arthur Johnson Smith, circa 1882.
A wonderful addition for anyone who appreciates the skilled craftsmanship of bygone eras.

- Full hallmarks are present.
- Weighs 4.50 grams.
- Measures approx 34mm X 34mm.
Condition
Good- Fair preloved antique condition, with some signs of wear that are commensurate with age and use. Some small edges of the detail to the front of the brooch have worn through. This is only noticeable upon close inspection, and will not affect normal use. Some fine marks, scratches and a darkened antique patina is present.
