A completely fabulous Victorian 1880 circa 9ct old Rosey gold ring, flaunting a cluster of pinkish red old cut paste stones, framing a single clear old cut paste stone.
A spectacular piece for anyone who adores Victorian and Georgian era jewellery, this stunning piece flaunts 8 old cut juicy garnet coloured paste stones, set into a Georgian silver crimped collet setting, with a singular rectangle old cut clear paste stone at the centre. This ring is likely a combination of both a Georgian era setting & paste stones, that has been fixed onto a Victorian era band.
This lovely old piece boasts a subtle patterned etching that details the full band, adding an extra touch of Victorian appeal to this piece. The presence of old pseudo British hallmarks, indicates that the band is likely Australian in craftsmanship, perhaps a Victorian era preservation of what once may have a been a Georgian era piece.
At a ripe age of 147 years old, this piece would make an exceptional addition to any collection of fine antique jewellery, or a particularly special gift for anyone who adores Antique Paste jewellery.
