A fine piece of antique Australian history, we have this nicely detailed Antique monogrammed pendant, by Willis & Sons of Melbourne, circa 1880-1910.
Detailed with a fancy 'ANA' monogrammed lettering, this piece would have originally belonged to a member of the "Australian Natives association".
Established in Victoria, circa 1871, The Australian Natives Association was formed by and for Australian men of light skin, designed to promote a sense of Australian identity amongst Australian born white men.
By the year 1910, the association had expanded nationally, with over 28 thousands members Australia wide.
