An extremely elegant Antique early 20th century Australian, 15ct gold & white sapphire 5 stone ring, crafted by highly regarded Brisbane jewellery manufacturers, W.F Cole.
This pretty Antique Australian beauty features five white sapphire stones that are slightly graduated in size and set into individual bezels. A slotted and slightly raised gallery, that is nicely complemented by upswept shoulders, ensuring generous light flow through the brilliant white sapphires, illuminating the glowing beauty of the precious stones. Crafted from buttery old yellow gold, with a gentle milgrain edging to the bezels, this stunning Antique piece is a true nod to the impeccable craftsmanship of by-gone eras.

- Full hallmarks are present, although showing signs of wear. An Anvil for W.F Cole, a 'B' to represent the company that this ring would have been crafted for. (Possibly Benjamin & Co.) And a '15c' stamp.
- Measures as a size 7 US or N UK/ AU.
- The inner dimated of the band measures 16.8mm
- Weighs 1.64 grams.
- Estimated combined carat weight of the sapphires is 0.35 ct, with the larger centre sapphire estimated at 0.15 ct, and the other four smaller outer sapphires estimated at 0.05ct each.
- The centre sapphire measures approx 3.5 mm in diameter. The four slightly smaller outer stones measure approx 3mm each in diameter.
- All of the stones have been tested.
- The setting sits approx 5mm proud from the finger.
- The base of the shank measures approx 2mm wide.
Condition
Very good antique preloved condition, with only minor signs of wear, considering age and use. All 5 of the stones present in very nice condition, showing no significant chips, scratches or damage. All stones sit securely within their bezel settings, no stones are loose or missing. Some slight signs of rub wear to the hallmarks are present. The shank is nice and round, showing no significant signs of thinning.
