An elegant & beautiful Antique Australian 15ct old yellow gold solitaire opal ring.
Estimated to be dated to early 1900's circa, This piece flaunts an incredible bezel set solid Australian crystal opal stone, exhibiting a fantastic play of colour! Predominantly purple and green in hue with a medium to light grey body tone, the opal stone also shows marvellous flashes of red, yellow and orange.
Crafted in an elegant bezel set solitaire design, this piece boasts a narrow band with gently curved shoulders, amplifying the natural beauty of the solid opal stone, and ensuring a comfortable wear worn on its own, or paired with other favourite rings.

- The solid crystal opal stone has a medium to light grey N7-N8 body tone, a moderate B3-B4 in brightness, and exhibits a combination neon flash and flame play of colour.

- The width of the band measures 2mm wide, slightly narrowing at the curved shoulders.
Condition
Good preloved antique condition with some signs of wear that are commensurate with age and use. Two tiny chips to the face of the opal are present, however, these do not minimise the overall beauty of this piece. No significant scratches, cracks, or damage to the opal are present. Some fine marks and scratches to the gold may be present. The shank is nice and round, showing no signs of thinning. The hallmark is partially worn, however remains distinguishable.
