History:
Alfred Saunders son of Charles Saunders (A quarrymaster from Prymont) was a well known jeweller and watchmaker who had established his business " Saunders Jewellery" in Sydney by 1884. Sadly, Alfred Saunders passed away in October of 1927, at the age of 67. The business 'Saunders jewellery' was later purchased by lead Australian jewellery retailer "Angus & coote"
