The split shoulders measure 5mm wide, tapering to 2mm at the base of the shank.
The shank measures a sturdy 1.5mm thick, ensuring that this piece could make an ideal ring for regular wear without the band becoming easily disformed.
Condition
Good preloved antique condition with some minor signs of wear that are commensurate with the age and use of this piece. Some very minor signs of scuffing to the face of the stone are present. There is a naturally occuring small fissure fracture that is visible from the reverse of the stone. The shank appears nice and round with no significant signs of thinning. The 9CT hallmark is slightly worn, but remains visible.
