A completely alluring Antique late Victorian/ early Edwardian early 1900's circa 9ct Gold bezel set pyrope garnet solitaire ring.
This delightful piece flaunts a rather generously sized Natural pyrope garnet, cut into a smooth and domed oval cabachon and set into a substantial and sturdy open backed bezel setting. The bezel setting is met at the shoulders with a well designed narrow band, ensuring that all eyes are captured by the marvellous red stone when worn.
A beautiful example of late Victorian era craftsmanship, crafted from solid 9ct old gold that is very slight Rosey hued in colour, this piece beams quality and elegance, making an incredible heirloom quality addition to any collection of fine jewellery.

Condition
Very good preloved antique condition, with only minor signs of wear considering the age of this piece. The garnet stone is in very good- excellent condition, showing no scratches, chips or cracks. The resolution of the stone is extremely nice, with very little internal inclusions. Some fine marks, scratches may be present to the gold setting and shank. The shank is very sturdy, presenting nice and round with no signs of thinning. The 9ct hallmark is slightly worn, however remains visible.
